Kenneth Gregg McIntyre, 62 went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 3, 2021 at ARMC. He was a native of Alamance County and the son of the late Edsel Howard McIntyre, Sr. and Betty Somers McIntyre.
Gregg was a member of Berea Christian Church and former member of the church choir and helped with the youth group. He enjoyed working of the family farm and watching Nascar racing and NCIS. He loved animals and had a feline pet named “Gabby”. Gregg was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.
Gregg is survived by his wife of 18 years, Carolyn Corter McIntyre of the home; step children, Amy Wood and husband, Keith of Rutherfordton, Tommy Faucette and wife, Rhonda of Oak Island and Daniel Lineberry of Burlington; 9 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren; bother, Howard McIntyre and wife, Linda of Roxboro; niece, Susan McIntyre of Urbana, Illinois; nephew, Brian McIntyre and wife, Karla of Hurdle Mills, NC; great nieces, Camryn Tuck and Heather Kellner; great nephews, Ellijah Tuck and Evan Tuck; sisters-in-law, Lisa Maness and Barbara Crutchfield; brothers-in-law, James and Steve Corter.
The family will receive friends from 1:45pm unit 2:45pm on Sunday, October 10, 2021 prior to the service at Lowe Funeral Home. A service to celebrate his life will be at 3:00pm at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Jeff Smith. The burial will follow at Berea Christian Church Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family request memorials be made to Berea Christian Church, 2848 Old NC 87, Elon, NC 27244.
