Kenneth Eugene Maness, age 84, passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, January 20, 2025. Born May 21, 1940 in Alamance County, he was the son of the late Johnny Aster Maness and Mallie Cates Maness.
Kenneth was an outdoorsman that loved hunting and fishing. He never passed up a Turkey Shoot while spending time honing his gun and shooting technique. He has several trophies to prove his marksmanship. A favorite past time was watching people pass by his house while sitting on the porch, always greeting them with a wave. He was a beloved husband and father and especially enjoyed spending time with his family. Kenneth worked several years at Nova Flex Hose company where he was a technician.
Kenneth is survived by his daughter, Barbara Jean Isbell and husband, Myles of Greenville, SC; and son, Darrell Eugene Maness; a sister, Sue Cross and a brother, Ronnie Dale Maness. And numerous nieces and nephews as well as great nieces and nephews.
Along with his parents, he is predeceased by his wife, Barbara Kay Williamson Maness in 2015; a son, Jimmy Maness and a brother, Robert Aster Maness.
A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, January 25, 2025 at 12:00 PM (Noon) at Alamance Memorial Park Mausoleum, burial to follow in the park.
