Burlington – Kenneth Henry Jeffries, 84, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 24, 2021. He was the son of the late Carl Theodore Jeffries and Rosa Etta Phillips Jeffries, and was married to Patsy Knight Jeffries for 62 years of the home.
Kenneth was a Tobacco farmer all his life. He was a member of Deep Creek Baptist Church. Kenneth enjoyed fishing, arrowhead collecting, NASCAR and especially Ford Motor Company. He was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather.
Survivors include his wife, Patsy Knight Jeffries of the home; son, Brad Jeffries and wife, Lindsey of Brown Summit; his daughters, Pam Ward and husband, Ricky of Elon and Penny Rudd and husband, Scott of Yanceyville; grandchildren, Evan and Addie Jeffries; brother, Frank Jeffries of Burlington and a sister, Fannie Tabor of Burlington. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brothers, Kaiser and Harold Jeffries and a sister, Billie Horner.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00pm Friday, March 26, 2021 at Kerr’s Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery by Rev. Paul Traywick. There will be a gathering and reception for family and friends following the service outside under a tent. Mr. Jeffries will be available for viewing from 1pm to 5pm Thursday at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory. The family will be at the residence at other times. * Mask are required at the attendance of the service for everyone’s safety due to Covid
