Burlington Kenneth Ray Faucette, age 62, of 2722 Berkley Rd., passed away Tuesday, December 26, 2006 at Duke Medical Center in Durham. A native of Alamance County, he was the son of Julia Dickie Faucette who survives and the late Millard Faucette. Mr. Faucette was a self employed farrier and was formerly a dispatcher with the Burlington Police Dept. He was a member of the N.C. Horse-shoers Association. Survivors include his significant other, Shirley Winebarger of the home; sons, Jeffrey Quentin Faucette of Snow Camp, Robert Thomas Faucette and wife Dawn of Pleasant Hill, William F. Faucette of Greensboro, Dean Winebarger and wife Cathy of Greensboro and Ronnie Winebarger and wife Wendy of Burlington; daughers, Vonda Kay Faucette of Burlington and Laura Elizabeth Faucette of Asheboro; mother, Julia Dickie Faucette of Burlington; sister, Bonnie Perry and husband Linwood of Forest City. He was the loving grandfather to Dustin Lewis Faucette, Courtney Dawn Faucette, Christian Martinez, Erika Winebarger, Ryan Winebarger and Haley Winebarger. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday at the Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Neil Perry and Rev. Mark Mitchell. Interment will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery. Mr. Faucette will remain at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory through the funeral service. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-8 PM Thursday and at other times at the home of Ronnie Winebarger; 4594 Freedom Dr., Burlington, NC in Heritage Glen subdivision, Exit 143, off of I-85, 62 South.
