Kenneth Cheek, Jr.

Graham - Kenneth Ray Cheek, Jr., 36, passed away suddenly Saturday, October 14, 2017.
A native of Alamance County, he was the son of Kenneth Ray Cheek, Sr. and Sheila Gainey Meade. He was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church and attended Lamb's Chapel. Kenneth attended N.C. State University and was a U.S. Navy veteran.
Survivors include his father, Kenneth Ray Cheek, Sr. and wife Rebecca of Mebane; mother, Sheila Gainey Meade and husband Scott of Graham; brother, Adam Cheek of Mebane; sister, Melissa Moore and husband Mikael of Hillsborough; paternal grandfather, Lewis Ray Cheek of Burlington; a niece, Wynter Moore of Hillsborough and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Alfred Gainey, Sr and Adele Gainey; paternal grandmother, Patricia Cheek; uncle, Rocky Gainey; aunt, Karen Teague and cousin, Jamie Darst.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00am Saturday, October 21, 2017 in the Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Ken Smith and Rev. Briant Cullinane O.F.M., Conv. The family will receive friends following the service at Lowe Funeral Home & Crematory and other times, at the Meade home, 816 Carraway Drive, Graham.
