Kenneth Boone

Kenneth Lee Boone, 78, of Durham passed away on Sunday, February 3, 2008 at Durham Ridge Assisted Living after several years of failing health. He was born in Alamance County to the late Walter and Florence Shepherd Boone. He was a US Navy veteran and was of the Baptist faith. He is survived by his daughters, Vonnie Toby Isley, Kathy Mike Chandler, Lisa Eddie Dickens and Angie Mike Nichols, all of Burlington; five granddaughters; one grandson and a brother, Earl Mary Boone of Mebane. He was preceded in death by his sister, Marie Williams. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM Tuesday, February 5, 2008 at the Haw River Cemetery by Rev. Walter Jones. The family will receive friends following the service and other times at the daughter's home, Vonnie Isley 2322 Haw River-Hopedale Rd. Burlington.
