Kelly Lee

Haw River, NC - Kelly Dawn Kirkpatrick Lee, 39, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 28, 2017 at Moses Cone Hospital following several years of failing health.
A native of Alamance County, she was born July 26, 1977 to Carl Thomas Kirkpatrick and Terri Ann Bowman Poythress and was the wife of 13 years to Joseph Brian Lee of the home.
Kelly had a passion for photography and enjoyed singing and spending time with her family. She was a very sweet and caring person and will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her husband, Joseph; mother and step-father, Terri and Hal Poythress; father, Carl Kirkpatrick and significant other, Pam Boggs; sons, Landon Scarlett, Trenton, Dylan and Liam Lee; brother, Justin Kirkpatrick and wife Casey; sisters, Tammy and Stacy Kirkpatrick; parents-in-law, Roger and Debbie Lee; maternal grandfather, Bill Bowman and wife Joyce, maternal grandmother, Linda Montgomery and husband Thurman; paternal grandfather, T.W. Kirkpatrick and brothers-in-law, Mike Lee and wife Shannon and Doug Lee and wife Heather. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Louise Kirkpatrick.
A funeral service to celebrate Kelly's life will be held 11:00am on Saturday, July 1, 2017 at Hebron United Methodist Church by Pastor Rob Licht with the interment to follow at Alamance Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 5-7pm on Friday, June 30, 2017 at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory and other times at her home in Haw River.
