Kathy Mason

Kathy Darlene Mason, 48, of 9147 Hwy 62 S., died Tuesday, May 5, 2009 at her home after a sudden illness. Born in Orange County, she was the daughter of the late Nonais Mythies "Red" Hudson and Ruby Johnson Bell, who survives. She was of the Baptist faith. Ms. Mason is survived by her mother of Newland, NC; two sons, Joseph Dale Mason of Yanceyville and Christopher Dale Mason and his wife, Odessa, of Newton, NC; two godchildren, Keosha B. Alston and Asia K. Alston; two sisters, Ilene "Sis" Ashley of Mebane and Judy Clark of Newland, NC; a brother, Jeff Davis of Burlington; and special friends, Ricky Lloyd, Christopher Lloyd, Diane Lloyd, Christine Easter and Rick Easter. She was preceded in death by her father; a sister, Joanne Johnson; and two brothers, John Davis and Ray "Tink" Hudson. A graveside service will be conducted at 12:00 PM Saturday, May 9, 2009 at Bush Arbor Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery by the Rev. David Bolick. The family will receive friends from 6-8 Friday evening at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory and other times at the home of her sister, "Sis" Ashley, 1920 Millcreek Rd., Mebane.
