Kathryn Pacanowski

Burlington Kathryn Marie Shanechuck Pacanowski, 87, passed away Tuesday, October 15, 2013 at the Hospice Home after a short illness. She was born on April 13, 1926 in Colver, PA to the late Ignaz Shanechuck and the late Anna Zedacka Shanechuck and was married to the late Edward Charles Pacanowski. Kathryn was a retired housekeeper with Epworth Manor in Tyrone, PA. She graduated in 1944 from Bigler Township High School and was a member of St. Matthews Roman Catholic Church in Tyrone, PA. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Rose Ann and Paul Bobak of the home; grandsons, Paul Bobak II, Zachary Bobak and Peter Bobak. Preceded in death by her husband, parents, four sisters and two brothers. The funeral mass will be 11:00AM Tuesday, October 22 at St. Matthews Catholic Church in Tyrone, PA, with burial to follow at Oakgrove Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8pm Monday, October 21, 2013 at Fellers Funeral Home.
