Kathleen Moss

Gibsonville, NC Kathleen Kate Norris Moss, age 84, formerly of 400 Steele Street, Apt. 32 went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 12, 2006 at the Alamance Health Care. She was a native of Union, South Carolina and the daughter of the late Howard and Hattie Mae Russell Norris. Kate was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church and the AIA Seniors Group in Gibsonville. She enjoyed traveling and especially spending time in the mountains. Kate was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed being with her grandchildren. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Buddy Lee of Burlington; sons and daughters-in-law, Larry Keith and Diane Moss of Burlington and Edward and Ann Vess of Commerce, Georgia; six grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren; sister, Pauline Warren of Columbia, South Carolina. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dewey Hobson Moss; parents; and her brother, Winfred Norris. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 14, 2006 at 6:00 p.m. at the Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Bill Skenes and the family will receive friends immediately following the service. The graveside service will be held on Wednesday, March 15, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. by Rev. Jerry Warren at the Rosemont Cemetery in Union, South Carolina. The family will be at the home of the daughter, Linda Lee, 1225 Dogwood Street, Burlington, NC at other times. In lieu of flowers the family request memorials be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Alamance-Caswell, 914 Chapel Hill Road, Burlington, NC 27215. .
