J.W. Busick

J.W. Busick, 69, of 7910 Troxler Mill Rd. passed away Tuesday December 20, 2005 at Randolph Health and Rehabilitation Center in Asheboro. He was the husband to the late Emma Lois Bowman Busick and the son of the late Cecil W. and Zula Huffines Busick. J.W. was a native of Guilford County, retired from the Alamance County School System where he taught at Western Alamance High School. He was a member of the National Educators Association, the North Carolina Educators Association, the Future Farmers of America and Apples Chapel Christian Church. Survivors include his son Jacen Busick and his wife Angela of Randleman, a granddaughter Emma Caroline Busick and a sister Elizabeth B. Price of Williamston, NC. The funeral will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, December 22, 2005 at Apples Chapel Christian Church by Rev. C. Allen Myers III. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends following the service and at other times at the residence. Mr. Busick will lie in state at the church from 1-2 PM Today prior to the service.
