June Loftis

Burlington-June McPherson Loftis, age 80 passed away on Monday, October 13, 2014 at ARMC. She was a native of Alamance County and the wife of 61 years to C.S. Loftis, Jr. who survives. June was a lifetime member of Eastlawn Elementary School PTA for over 25 years. She enjoyed arts and crafts and spending time at the beach with her family. June was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Survivors include her husband of 61 years, C.S. Loftis, Jr. of the home; children, Vicki Ritter and husband, Jimmy of Graham, Constant "Bebe" Loftis III and wife, Sharri of Delphi, Indiana, Steven Loftis of Burlington, Lisa Sims and husband, Jeff of Graham, Joey Loftis and wife, Tina of Mebane, Sandra Boscia and husband, Ralph of Charlotte and Allen Loftis of Burlington; ten grandchildren and six great grandchildren and her brother, Sammy McGuire of Sanford. She was preceded in death by her parents, Cardew McPherson and Christine Whitfield Roten and a brother, James McPherson. A service to celebrate her life will be held on Friday, October 17, 2014 at 2:00 pm at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Tom Loftis and the burial will follow at Alamance Memorial Park.
