Julian Barham

Burlington JACK BARHAM Julian Jackson "Jack" Barham, age 82, passed away on Thursday, July 14, 2011 at Liberty Commons. A native of Guilford County, he was the husband of the late Joyce Diffee Barham and son of the late Wade A. and Jane Leonard Barham. Jack operated Barham Electric for 43 years, was a member of Brookwood Baptist Church, a Mason and a former member of the Burlington Planning Board. He was an Air Force Veteran of the Korean Conflict. Survivors include his son, Ronald M. Barham of San Diego, CA; daughters, Kathy B. Blevins and Renee B. Bartis both of Burlington; grandchildren, Cynthia Lynn Barham Rogers, Christina Marie Barham Lauper, Jessica Blevins Bohn, Jason David Blevins, Joshua Daniel Trull, Joseph Ross Trull and Alex Bartis; step grandchild, Mandy Toller and 16 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Diffee Barham, son, David J. Barham, grandchild, Shawn Barham and brothers, L. Ted Barham and Leonard J. Barham. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, July 31, 2011 in the Lowe Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery. Details of the service will be announced in this newspaper on Friday July 29, 2011. Mr. Barham will remain at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory through the funeral service.
