Julia Teague

Graham - Julia Mae Parker Teague, 89, passed away Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at Alamance Regional Medical Center after a short illness. She was born on May 24, 1928 in Rowan County to the late John Jackson Parker and Julia Elizabeth Ward Parker and was married to the late Kenneth Wright Teague, Sr. who died in 1996.

Julia was a homemaker and a former Order of the Eastern Star. She enjoyed reading and making quilts.

She is survived by her daughter, Ann Teague Park; a son, Kenneth "Kenny" Teague, Jr. and Mary Ferrell "her other daughter"; grandchildren, Shannon Park, Dee Teague Lowder and husband, Brad, Brent Park and wife, Michelle; great grandchildren, Dylan and wife, Erica, Ashlie, Kenry, Lexxe, Jordan, Brayden, Camden and Jaecyn; sisters-in-law, Vera Harris and Earl, Betty Ellington, Garlene Wicker, Mary Pedelty and husband, Russell; and a great niece, Billie Teague. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

The funeral service will be held at 3:00pm Saturday, April 14, 2018 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor Darrell Massey with the burial to follow in Pine Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:45pm Saturday prior to the service at the funeral home.
