Judy Lynch Allred

Judy Lynch Allred was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend whose beautiful smile could light up any room. She left this world on Wednesday, November 2 after a years-long battle with Alzheimer's Disease at age 75.
Judy was born to Charles Linwood Lynch and Juanita Morris Lynch of Burlington on March 5, 1947 and graduated from Western High School in Burlington where she entertained the crowds at football games as she led the marching band as the beautiful, fire-baton twirling majorette. She finally met and married the love of her life, Ron Allred, in 1977. They lived a beautiful life together while raising their children in South Carolina, then moved to Georgia, Florida, Texas, Missouri, and finally back to North Carolina, making many life-long friends and memories along the way.
Judy loved entertaining, cooking, decorating, playing bridge, taking care of her beloved dogs Boo and Savannah, and traveling. Her favorite destination was Paris. She also loved her travels to Italy and Africa. She was a fun and loving grandmother to her 5 grandchildren, who will always remember her special Mickey Mouse waffles. Judy made everyone she knew feel special and she will be deeply missed.
Judy is survived by her beloved husband, Ron Allred of Burlington, two children, Melanie Stuart of Raleigh, Wayne Stuart and wife, Chrystal, and five grandchildren.  In addition, Judy’s brother in law, Wes Allred, offered wonderful support in Judy’s care.
