Judith Vermilya

Judith "Judy" Massie Johnson Vermilya, 71, passed away on Thursday, March 22, 2018 at the Hospice Home. She was born in Indiana and was the daughter of the late Morgan and Louzelia Pulliam Massie. Judy was a member of CrossWay Church and the Beta Psi Chapter of ESA for over fourteen years.
She is survived by her husband, Herbert Marshall Vermilya; daughter, Kristi Johnson; sons, Barry (Terra) Johnson, Steve (Terri) Vermilya, Michael (Brenda) Vermilya; several loving grandchildren and great grandchildren and a sister, Effie Rush. She was preceded in death by her first husband, William Johnson and a daughter, Sheri Johnson Thomas.
The funeral will be held 11:00 AM Monday, March 26, 2018 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Garry Yeatts and by her son, Barry Johnson with interment to follow in Alamance Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 3-5 Sunday afternoon at the funeral home.
