Judith Kenion Parker, a remarkable individual, passed away on June 6, 2024, at Alamance Regional Medical Center. She was born in Alamance County on November 2, 1942. Judith was known for being one of a kind - her way of doing things was always the right way, Judith found joy in surf fishing at Hatteras and cherished the opportunities she had to travel. Her spirit for adventure and zest for life shone brightly through these passions.
She is preceded in death by her parents, E. James Parker, Sr. and Edna Joyce Glenn Parker, as well as her brother E. James "Jimmy" Parker.
Judith will be deeply missed by her surviving family and friends. Judy's long-time friend and caretaker, Iris Long, played a significant role in her life. She is also survived by her two brothers, Thomas W. Parker and Joseph A. Parker; nieces and nephews, Jennifer Coleman (John), Susan Parker, Watt Parker, Terri Parker, Russell Parker, and Curtis Parker; along with numerous great nieces and nephews.
Judith Kenion Parker leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and strength. Her memory will forever be cherished by all those who had the privilege of knowing her. May she rest in peace. No services are planned at this time.
