Juanita Witt

Juanita Lynch Witt passed away on Sunday, February 24, 2008 at Ivy Hall Assisted Living in Atlanta, Georgia. She was a truly special and loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother and great-grandmother. Her greatest joy came in tending her flowers and her garden while dedicating the majority of her energy toward caring and providing for her family she loved so much. Mrs. Witt was born on October 26, 1925 to the late Elma and Victoria Lamm Morris of Princeton, NC. She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Charles Linwood Lynch and by her husband Donald Witt. Survivors include her daughter, Mrs. Ron Judy Lynch Allred of Atlanta; her grandchildren, Mrs. David Melanie Stuart Frueauff of Little Rock, AR and Wayne Stuart of Asheville, NC.; three great grandchildren, Claire Frueauff, Will Frueauff and Emma Frueauff of Little Rock; her sisters, Connie Edwards of Jamestown, Ruby Smith of Advance, Octavia Driver of Burlington and Jean Thompson of Pine Level; her brothers, Leon Morris and Linwood Morris of Princeton and Layton Morris and Milford Morris of Burlington. Juanita was a Charter Member of Faith Bible Chapel in Burlington, a member of First United Methodist Church in Duluth, GA. and a retired supervisor from J. Spencer Love, a Division of Burlington Industries. Visitation will be held at Lowe Funeral Home from 6:00 8:00 P.M. on Tuesday. A funeral service for Mrs. Witt will be held at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday at 2:00 P.M. conducted by her great niece, Reverend Nora Foust, Associate Pastor at First Reformed United Church of Christ and her nephew Mr. Eddie Driver. Interment will follow at Alamance Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association-Atlanta Region, Attn: Rhita Pfleger, 1925 Century Blvd., Suite 10, Atlanta, GA 30345 or to Companion Care Hospice, 4350 Georgetown Square Road, Suite #725, Atlanta, GA 30338 or to the charity of your choice.
