Mr. Juan Miguel Espinosa, age 72 of Graham, passed away on Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at Duke University Medical Center after heart complications. Juan touched many lives, was passionate about history, classical music and enjoyed placing a smile in everyone's heart. Born in Malaga, Spain, he was the son of the late Jose and Francisca Espinosa. He was married for over 52 years to Mrs. Renate Espinosa, who survives. Juan trained in the textile industry in Germany before immigrating to the United States to continue to work in the textile industry, where he owned and operated Castillo Fabrics. He was a proud and loving father and grandfather and was of the Catholic faith. Mr. Espinosa is survived by his wife; three daughters, Ines Espinosa and Carmen Espinosa both of Graham and Manuela Espinosa of Whitsett; two grandchildren, Daniel and Elena Espinosa; a brother, Jose Espinosa and his wife, Anita of Madrid, Spain; several nieces, nephews and cousins located in Spain and additional loved ones located in Germany and Venezuela. A memorial service will be conducted at 4:00PM on Friday, November 21, 2014 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Chaplains M.J. Tucci and Harald Petrini. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home and a celebration of life will be held at the Brightwood Farm Clubhouse in Whitsett, thereafter.
