Joyce Wright

Joyce Crumpler Wright, passed away on Thursday, January 19, 2006 at Pinelake Health and Rehab in Carthage. She was born in Sampson County, daughter of the late Jefferson and Henrietta Crumpler and was married to the late Herman E. Wright. She was a member of Shallow Ford United Church of Christ and a member of the Womens fellowship of the church. Joyce volunteered with Alamance County Meals on Wheels, was an avid walker with the Alamance Senior Citizens and a homemaker. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Brenda and Sonny Blanchard of Sanford; son and daughter-in-law, Jeffery and Linda Wright of Hudson; grandson, Eddie Blanchard and his wife Heather; step grandsons, Shane Snyder and his wife Dana, Heath Snyder; 3 step great grandchildren; sisters and brother-in-law, Catherine C. and Barney Stutts of Burlington and Clio C. Adler of Mason, OH. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, sister, Mary Fisher Crumpler and brother, Henry Crumpler. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday at Alamance Memorial Park by Pastor Joe Gould.
