Joyce Troutman

Gibsonville Joyce Dalton Troutman, 78, 309 Owen St. went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, November 22, 2006 at her residence. Mrs. Troutman was born June 7, 1928 in Southern Pines to the late David Elias and Lillie Darnell Dalton. She was the wife of Fred M. Troutman for over 59 years. She was a homemaker and was a member of Whittsett Baptist Church. Survivors other than her husband include two sons, Mike F. Troutman and his wife Donna and Roger and his wife Diane all of Gibsonville; two daughters, Gail T. Hicks of Burlington, and Shirley and husband Mike Jones of Gibsonville; eight grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and two sisters, Lucille Pulliam of Coco Beach, Fl and Nancy Pruitt of Greensboro. She was preceded in death by a son Steven Wayne Troutman. The funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, November 26, 2006 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Randy Hobbs. Interment will follow in the Gibsonville City Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p. m.
