Joyce Maynard

Burlington, NC Joyce Ann Bolden Maynard, age 73, formerly of 1438 Knollwood Drive, died on Tuesday, May 4, 2010 at her home after a lengthy illness. She was a native of Alamance County and the daughter of the late Delmar C. Bolden, Sr. and the late Novie Mae Bolden. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Keith Dale Bolden. Survivors include her husband of 52 years, James Larry Maynard and one son, Jimmy of the home; two sisters, Barbara Hedrick and her husband, Lee of Hampstead, NC and Linda Hodge and her husband, Roger of Burlington; two brothers, Jimmy C. Bolden and his wife, Margaret of Burlington and Delmar Charles Bolden, Jr. and his wife, Dylene of Graham and many, nieces, nephews and cousins. A Memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 8, 2010 at 3:00 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 933 West Old Glencoe Road in Burlington. Officiating will be Lloyd N. Morris, Jr. and Robert "Bob" Langbeen. The family will receive friends at the Kingdom Hall one hour prior to the Memorial service. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Kingdom Hall Building Fund, c/o Raymond Wright, 2211 Hyde Street, Burlington, NC 27217.
