Joyce Apple

Gibsonville, NC Joyce Thomas Apple, age 74 passed away on Tuesday, September 3, 2013. She was the wife of the late Elza Junior Apple. Joyce loved animals and she trained and showed dogs for many years. She also had a special companion her parrot named "Bart". Joyce enjoyed gardening and especially growing flowers. She will be missed by her family and friends. Joyce is survived by her aunts, Marjorie Willett and her husband, David of Asheboro and Kitty Lee of Culpepper, Virginia; uncle, Bobby Bolton of Rock Hill, South Carolina ; sisters-in-law, Jeanette Bailiffe of Gibsonville and Dorothy Lee Apple of Burlington; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband and her mother, Eloise Bolton Thomas. A graveside service will be held on Friday, September 6, 2013 at 2:00 pm at Gibsonville City Cemetery by Eric Rudd. The family will receive friends from 12:45-1:45 pm prior to the service at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory. Memorials may be made to the donor's favorite charity.
