Josie Henze

Burlington-Josie Florence Browning Henze, age 92, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, August 28, 2015. She was a native of Alamance County and the wife of the late Robert August Henze. Josie worked in the dietary department for many years at Alamance County Hospital. She was a former member of Andrews Memorial Baptist Church where she taught Sunday school and sang in the church choir. Josie is a member of Christian Bible Fellowship and active member of the Faithful Finishers Senior group at the church. She enjoyed Bible studies at her church and she sang for several years with a ladies ensemble in Alamance County. Josie's God given talent was evidenced through her servant's heart in caring for others. She is survived by several nieces and nephews and was preceded in death by her husband, parents, Frank and Rosa Andrews Browning; brothers, Bill, Paul, Denzil and Delbert Browning. A service to celebrate her life will be held on Sunday, August 30, 2015 at 2:00 pm at Christian Bible Fellowship by Rev. Bruce Readling and the burial will follow at Pine Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:15-1:45 pm prior to the service at the church.
