Joseph Pulliam

Joseph Flint Joe Pulliam, 88, formerly of Dixon Pool Rd., died Tuesday, September 27, 2005 at White Oak Manor. A native of Person County, he was the son of the late Samuel Mitchell Pulliam and the late Ada B. Hargis Pulliam and was married to the late Hattie Mae Fox Pulliam, who died in 2002. Mr. Pulliam was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and served during WWII. He was a retired carpenter and was of the Baptist faith. Mr. Pulliam is survived by one sister, Mrs. Irene Painter of Greensboro, along with several nieces and nephews.bn A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 AM Thursday, September 29, 2005 at Alamance Memorial Park by the Rev. Benny Smith. There will be no visitation. Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory is serving the Pulliam family. Condolences may be sent to the family at lowefh@bellsouth.net.
