Joseph Overman

Leo Joseph "Joe" Overman, 55, passed away suddenly Friday, October 6, 2017 at his home. He was born September 5, 1962 in Greenville, SC to Billy Earl Overman and the late Lena Grace Gentry Overman and was married to Reconda "Ricci" Browder Overman. Joe served in the U.S. Army was a member of the V.F.W. He enjoyed riding motorcycles especially Harleys. He was a kind man with a huge heart and a smile for everyone. He was always glad to see you. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his wife, Ricci Overman; a daughter, Shana Allred and husband Duck; a son, Matt Overman and fiancée June Amber Hayes; granddaughters, Alexis Allred, Brittany Allred; father, Billy Earl Overman; sisters, Debbie Whitehead and husband Robert, Leslie Shoffner, Misty Bailey and husband Brandon and a brother Billy Wayne Overman and wife Jamie. He was preceded in death by his mother and a sister, Karen Jeffrey.
There will a graveside service 2:00 PM Monday at Alamance Memorial Park by Rev. Tim Pope. The family will receive friends 12:30 - 1:30 PM Monday at Lowe Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc. and at other times at the home of his son Matt.
