Joseph Hockett II

Joseph Alexander Hockett II, age 29, of Apex, passed away suddenly on Saturday, September 2, 2017 in Wilmington, NC.
Born in Guilford County he was the son of Joseph Alexander Hockett and Jennifer Devera Alba, who both survive. Joseph had a great love of music and performed as a DJ, going by the name "DJ Reign".
Joseph is survived by his father, Alex of Wayne, NJ and his mother, Jennifer of Apex; a sister, Michelle Bishop; two brothers, Cameron and Christian Alba; grandparents, John and Mary Devera and Grady Hockett; aunts, Tammy Reece and Trish Willard; and his girlfriend, Kristen Rowell. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Myra Thompson Long.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 AM Thursday, September 7, 2017 at Shallow Ford Christian Church Cemetery by Pastor Steve Regan. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Wednesday evening at Lowe Funeral Home & Crematory.
