Joseph Byerly

Joseph "Joe" Edward Byerly passed away doing what he loved, fishing. He was born December 26, 1949 in Guilford County to the late Walter L. Byerly, Sr. and Edith Gilbert Byerly. Joe had served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War. He loved to fish and was a member of B.A.S.S., an avid NASCAR fan and a beekeeper. He was a loving man whom was always there to help, whatever he did he gave 110%. He loved his family and friends and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Survivors include his son, Jason Byerly; granddaughter, Mary Ella Byerly; fiancé, Susan Bradshaw; step daughters, Stacie Bradshaw, Stephanie Wagner; step granddaughters, Grace Wagner, Faith Wagner; sisters, Peggy Jean Mansfield, Betty Sue Byerly, Kathy Sue Byerly, Debbie Sue Burnette; brothers, Walter L. Byerly, Jr. and Jerry L. Byerly. He was preceded in death by his parents.
The funeral will be held 4:00 PM Monday at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. David Satterfield.
The family will receive friends 2:30 -3:45 prior to the service at Lowe Funeral Home.
