Burlington, NC Joseph N. Bouderau, age 81, passed away on Wednesday, January 14, 2015 at ARMC surrounded by his family. He was a native of Brooklyn, New York and the husband of 58 years to the late Stella Biaggia Rabito Bouderau. Joseph was a member for over 33 years of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church and a member of the Knights of Columbus. Joseph retired from AMP after 25 years and was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He was a real deck of cards, if Joe gave you a hard time it meant that he liked you! Joe was a very wise and sharp man that had seen a lot during his days but he always kept himself up to date. Each visit with Joe would be made up of a life lesson, a story of his childhood shenanigans, planning his next vacation, and/or showing off a new gadget. Joe's legacy will always be in our hearts and memories of his lively spirit, and his perseverance to improve the well being of his life and his loved ones alike. He is survived by his daughter, Nancy Bouderau Brewer of Blanch; granddaughter, Jacqueline Marie Potts and husband, Taylor of Haw River and grandson, Joseph Blas Brewer of Hopedale; great granddaughter, Kaia Alexandra Brewer; sisters, Beatrice Haggerty of New York, Maryann Linge of California, Patricia Pope and Marie Huber both of New York; brothers, Dennis Bouderau, Raymond Bouderau and George Bouderau all of New York. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, January 17, 2015 at 10:00 am at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church by Rev. Briant Cullinane OFM Conv. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm on Friday, January 16, 2015 at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory and other times at the home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, PO Box 619, Burlington, NC 27216.
