Johnsie Williams, 75, passed away early on Friday May 1, 2020 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born on July 28, 1944 in Guilford County to the late Buddy Edward Greeson, Sr. and Ernestine Causey Greeson, and was married to the late Ray Douglas “Doug” Williams who passed away in 2012.
Johnsie loved flowers and was the former owner of Johnsie’s Floral Design. She was a member of Rock Creek Baptist Church. Her focus was centered on her family, especially going to go-cart races with her grandchildren.
Along with her parents and husband, Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by her stepson, Jimmy Williams.
She is survived by her son, Eddie Williams (Christy) of Altamahaw; stepdaughter, Lorie Hall (Tommy) of Glen Raven; grandchildren: Steven Williams, Hailey Williams and Bradley Hall; sisters, Janice Greeson Pophal and Mary Greeson Davis; brothers: Buddy Edward Greeson, Jr., and Michael Ernest Greeson; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A private service to celebrate her life will be held at 3:00pm Sunday, May 3, 2020 at Lowe Funeral Home officiated by Pastor Jeffrey Barber and Rev. Johnsie will be available for viewing on Saturday, May 2 from 2:00pm to 5:00pm at the funeral home.
