John Wallace

John Junior Wallace, 71, passed away Monday, June 02, 2014 at Magnolia Place in Greenville, SC after a period of declining health. He was born in Bladen County, NC to the late John Robert Wallace and the late Maude Ella Hathcock Wallace and was married to the late Beatrice Soots Wallace. He was a former employee with Starr Electric and was a member of Springwood Presbyterian Church. He is survived by his sisters and brother-in-law, Celia and Joel Smith of Pelzer, SC, Mary Burns of Simpsonville, SC and Helen Hill of Bristol, TN; brothers and sisters-in-law: Thomas and Dorothy Wallace of Greensboro, Jack and Sybil Wallace of Franklinville, NC; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, and brothers, Ervin and James Wallace. The graveside service will be held 2:00pm Thursday, June 5, 2014 at Alamance Memorial Park by Dr. Genie Martin. The family will receive friends from 1:00pm to 1:45pm at Lowe Funeral Home & Crematory prior to the service. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to United Hospice of the Piedmont, 102 E.
