John Baulding

John Furlough Baulding, 88, passed away Sunday, April 10, 2011 at Alamance Regional Medical Center. Mr. Baulding was born July 16, 1922 in Alamance County to the late Walter Freeman Baulding and Lillie Etta Furlough Baulding. John was the loving husband for 70 and half years to Theo Garner Baulding who survives. He retired from Western Electric Company and was a member of First Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church. He was an avid Nascar fan and also an avid gardner. Survivors other than his wife include a daughter, Brenda B. Oakes of Burlington; a son, David F. Baulding Barbara of Burlington; four grandchildren, Paige B. Moore, Angela B. KutzerKevin, John Dewey Oakes Jann, Stephanie Oakes Gable Stephen; four great grandchildren, Grover David Moore, Payton Moore, Cassy Kutzer, and Kaleigh Kutzer; and two sisters, Vera Boone and Frances Warren both of Burlington. John was preceded in death by his parents, and three brothers, William Baulding, Elmer Baulding, and Richard Baulding. A funeral service will be held 11:00am Wednesday, April 13, 2011 at the First Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Bryan Gregory and the Rev. Tim Robinson officiating. Interment will follow at Pine Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6-8pm Tuesday evening at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory and other times at the home.
