Joey Truitt

Mr. Joey Wayne Truitt, age 54, of Gibsonville, passed away on Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at his home after several years of failing health. A native of Guilford County, he was the son of Curtis Lester Truitt and Ruth McQueen Truitt, who both survive, and was marred for over 31 years to Mrs. Cynthia Albright Truitt, who survives. Joey was a former employee with Metaldyne Corporation and was a member of McLeansville Baptist Church. Mr. Truitt is survived by his wife of the home; both of his parents; his daughter, Crystal Lynn McIntyre and her husband, Johnny, of Greensboro; his son, Joshua Wayne Truitt and his wife, Brandi Neville, of Greensboro; three grandchildren, Corey Lynn Truitt, Lillian Rose Truitt and Joshua Wayne Truitt II; and two brothers, Curtis Randy Truitt and George Eugene Truitt, both of Liberty. A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 Friday, November 13, 2015 at McLeansville Baptist Church Cemetery by Dr. Jack Lemons. You may sign the online register book at www.lowefuneralhome.com.
