Joe Perry

Joe Perry, 74, passed away Sunday, January 22, 2017 at Moses Cone Hospital. He was born August 4, 1942 in Alamance County to the late Jimmy and Nancy Marine Perry and was married to the late Helen "Chubby" Gerringer for 25 years. Joe loved being outdoors and doing outdoor things like farming, working with horses and fishing. He enjoyed working on cars to help people.
He is survived by his granddaughter, Jessica Turner and fiancé Ricky Cannon, Jr.; great grandson Jonathon Turner; sister, Faye Gerringer and husband Chester; several nieces and nephews.
There will be a graveside service 2:00 PM Tuesday at Gibsonville City Cemetery.
The family will receive friends 6-8 PM Monday at Lowe Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc.
