JoAnne Rudd

Burlington JoAnne Huffines Rudd, 60, of Burlington passed away on Monday, November 24, 2014 at her home after a six month battle with lung cancer. She was the daughter of the late Willie and Eula Mae Jones Huffines and was married for 40 years to Jerry W. Rudd who survives. She loved bowling and traveling. She is survived by her husband, Jerry of the home; children, Angela Steve Johnson of Haw River, Bryan Rudd of Cary, and Jason Rudd of Burlington; grandchildren, Nathan Crisson, Emily Crisson, Garrett Rudd, Janine Rudd, and Thorin Rudd; and sisters, Kathy Lee, Peggy Brooks, Alice Huffines, Willie Mae Oldham, Robin Brantley and Tammy Coble. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Linda Clark. The funeral will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. William Baker with interment to follow at Alamance Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6-8 Friday evening at the funeral home and other times at the residence.
