Joann Blanche Auten Davis, 72, passed away on Wednesday, May 18, 2016 at Peak Resources after several years of failing health. She was born in Washington, DC on October 10, 1943 to the late Floyd Franklin Auten and Nora Blanche Haines Auten and was the wife of 55 years to Bobby Gene Davis who survives.
Joann retired as the owner and operator of B&W Bindery and was a member of Harvest Hills Church of God.
Survivors other than her husband, Bobby Davis include her daughters, Donna Denise Owens and her husband, Glen, Janice Louise Cook and her husband, Chris; granddaughters, Marie Steves, Kimberley Beasley and Jessica Nilles; great grandchildren, Prudence Steves, Abagail Snider, Tobin Steves and Dakota Beasley.
The funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Monday, May 23, 2016 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Dr. Russell Morris and Rev. Brandon Cook with the burial to follow in Alamance Memorial Park. The family will be at the daughter, Janice's home in Graham. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
