Joan Armshaw

Gibsonville-Joan Golec Armshaw, 57, passed away on Monday, November 13, 2017 at the Hospice home surrounded by her family. She was born in Portsmouth, Virginia to Richard Frank Golec and the late Bobbie Jean Ezzell Golec.
Joan was a service coordinator with GNK Services, Inc. a division of Cintas. She was a loving and devoted daughter and grandmother. She is survived by her daughter, Ashley Dickens and husband, Shawn Dickens of Burlington; grandchildren, Letty and Mia Dickens and her father, Richard Frank Golec of Gibsonville; sisters, Jane Phillips and husband, Kyle and Jean Thaxton and husband, Wayne; nieces, Summer, Kristen and Amanda and a nephew, Kyle.
A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held at a latter date.
