Jo Warren

Graham-Jo Ellen Sykes Warren, 62 went home to be with the Lord on Monday, December 4, 2017. She was the wife of 32 years to Larry E. Warren who survives. She was the daughter of James "Jody" Lacy and Ruth Helen Wright Sykes who survive.
Jo Ellen was employed as Personnel Director with Sue Lynn Textiles in Haw River. She was a lifetime member of Glen Hope Baptist Church and a member of the Emmanuel Sunday School Class. Jo Ellen was a former Sunday School teacher and worker in the children's ministry for many years. She enjoyed singing in church and using her creative talents to encourage and minster to her friends and family. Jo Ellen loved her labs and most recently a new lab puppy named "Hope". She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Survivors include her husband, Larry Warren of the home; sister, Joan S. Troxler and husband, Craig of Burlington and her brother, James "JR" Sykes and wife, Pat of Lawrenceville, Georgia; parents, Jody and Ruth Sykes of Burlington; sisters-in-law, Cathey Holt and husband, Russell of Graham and Jo Anne Smith of Graham; brother-in-law, Lee Perry of Burlington; nieces, Jamie Wrenn, Jessica Fellows, Morgan Troxler and Jessica Perry; nephews, Jonathan Sykes, Larry Smith, Jason Holt, Brian Holt and Dillan Perry; numerous great nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank all the first responders that helped on Monday morning at their home.
A service to celebrate her life will be held on Thursday, December 7, 2017 at 2:00 pm at Glen Hope Baptist Church by Rev. Bob Stephenson and Rev. Mark Gammon of Cary, NC and the burial will follow at Graham Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 5-7 pm on Wednesday at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory and other times at the residence.
