Jo Anne Pickard Conklin

Winston-Salem

Jo Anne Pickard Conklin, 75, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 29, 2024 at Baptist Hospital in Winston-Salem.  She was born in Guilford County to the late Kendall Jennings Pickard and Dorothy Page Pickard and was married for over 57 years to Donald Lee “Donnie” Conklin who survives.

Jo Anne was a member of Faith Church in Winston-Salem.  She loved cooking and making her own cards to send out to people for all occasions.  She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who truly enjoyed spending time with her family.

She is survived by her loving husband, Donnie of almost 58 years; daughters, Donna Conklin Foltz and her husband, David and Stephanie Conklin Williams and her husband, Bobby; grandchildren, Alec Gregory and his wife, Danielle, Matthew “Matt” Foltz, Marisa Bibb and her husband, Matt, and Nicholas Foltz; great granddaughter, Hadley Gregory and expecting “Baby Bibb” in December; and her beloved dog, Bella.  She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Lynn Pickard.

A service to celebrate her life will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, May 2, 2024 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by pastors Keith Brock and Michael Gates with burial to follow in Linwood Cemetery in Graham.  The family will receive friends immediately following the graveside service.
