Jo Ann Jeffreys Robertson

     Jo Ann retired after 43 years with Burlington Industries. She was a lifetime member of Long’s Chapel Chrisitan Church and attended New Covenant Fellowship in Graham. Jo Ann was a member of the St. Marks Circle and she enjoyed cooking, entertaining and spending time with her family and friends.

     Jo Ann is survived by her sons, Keith Porterfield and wife, Sheila of Graham and Jeffrey Porterfield and wife, Sandy of Burlington; grandchildren, Brooke Porterfield of Elon and Brian Porterfield of Burlington; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harvey Augustus Jeffreys, Sr. and Sandra McBane Jeffreys; sister, Virginia Jeffreys Darden and her brother, Harvey “H.A.” Jeffreys Jr.

     A special thank you to the nurses and staff of The Homeplace, Authoracare Collective Hospice and Always Best Care for their care and compassion for Jo Ann over the last several months. A special appreciation to her caregiver, Debra Chandler.

     A graveside service will be held at 11:00am, Wednesday, August 16, 2023 at Long’s Chapel Christian Church Cemetery for family and close friends.
