Jimmy Darrell Lambert, 67, of 4370 Alamance Baptist Church Loop Road died on Sunday morning, October 2, 2005 at his home. He was a native of Moore County, NC and the husband of Janice Chrismon Lambert who survives. Jimmy owned and operated his own Antiques business for many years and recently devoted his time to his hobby of restoring Hit-N-Miss Engines. Jimmy traveled throughout the country as an exhibitor at Antique Gas Engine Shows and he was also featured on Crossing Carolina with Roys Folks. Jimmy was a veteran serving in the US Army during peacetime. He attended West Burlington Church of God and was devoted to his family. Survivors include his wife, Janice Chrismon Lambert of the home; daughter and son-in-law, Kim and Fred Black of Burlington; sons and daughter-in-law, Jonathan D. Lambert of Mebane and Jimmy Wayne and Susan Lambert of Burlington; step daughter, Pam Sullivan of Wilmington, NC; step sons and daughter-in-law, Lynn Andrews of Burlington and Jeff and Virginia Andrews of Gibsonville; grandchildren, Jacob and Will Ingle, Walker and Hannah Black, Melinda Lambert, Lindsey Andrews, Jonathan and Brandon Sullivan; his mother, Thelma Pender Lambert Protzman of Burlington; brothers and sisters-in-law, Ronnie and Rhonda Lambert of Brown Summit, NC, Astern and Jackie Lambert of Jacksonville, Fl and Joe Lambert of Jacksonville, Fl; half sisters, Toni Lambert Phillips and Joni Lambert Patty both of Jacksonville, Fl. He was preceded in death by his father, James Astern Lambert and his sister, Shirley Jones. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 5, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. at the West Burlington Church of God by Pastor Olin Tatum and the burial will follow at Alamance Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, October 4, 2005 at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory and other times at the home.
