Jimmy Hooper

Burlington, NC Jimmy Gray Hooper, age 71, passed away on Saturday, April 30, 2011 at his home. He was a native of Caswell County and the son of the late Rufus Albert Hooper and Thelma Miles Hooper. Jimmy retired from GKN in Mebane and was a farmer most of his life. He was a veteran of the US Army and will greatly be missed by his family and friends. Survivors include his son, Todd Hooper and his wife, Sherry of Caswell County and a daughter, Nicole Smith and her husband, Troy also of Caswell County; grandchildren, Hannah Hooper, Noah Hooper and Joshua Smith; step grandchild, Kalah Smith. A graveside service will be held on Monday, May 2, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Bethel Christian Church Cemetery by Rev. Darrell Massey. The family will be at the home of his daughter located at 302 Concord Drive, Reidsville, NC 27320.
