Burlington-Jimmie C. Bolden, age 80, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at the Hospice Home. He was native of Alamance County and the husband of 58 years to Margaret Haith Bolden who survives. Jimmie was employed with Burlington Industries, Pioneer Plant, Carolina Nissan and later retired from Woodys Body Shop. He was a member of Glen Hope Baptist Church and former usher of the church. Jimmie was an Eagle Scout and a veteran of the US Army serving during peacetime in Cuba. He was an avid Nascar fan and loved Carolina Basketball. Jimmie was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather. Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Margaret Haith Bolden of Burlington; daughter, Debbie Bolden Morris and husband, Todd of Burlington; grandson, Andrew Robert Morris of Burlington; brothers, Charles Delmer Bolden and wife, Dylene of Graham; sisters, Barbara Hedrick and husband, Lee of Hampstead, NC, Linda Hodge and husband, Rodger of Burlington. He was preceded in death by his parents, Delmer Charles Bolden and Novie Smith Bolden; brother, Keith Dale Bolden and a sister, Joyce Maynard. The Boldin family would like to thank the Palliative Care Team at ARMC and the nurses and staff of Hospice for their kind and compassionate care. A service to celebrate his life will be held on Saturday, December 26, 2015 at 2:00 pm at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Bob Stephenson. The family will receive friends from 12:30-1:45 pm prior to the service at the funeral home and other times at the home of Debbie and Todd Morris.
