Jerry Dee Moore, 79, passed away Wednesday May 6, 2020 at the Hospice Home after several months of declining health.  He was born on September 22, 1940 in Alamance County to the late Harry Dee Moore and Nonie Bell Paschal Moore, and was the husband of 27 years to Marie Hatch Moore, who survives.

Jerry was a retired supervisor with Flynt Dyeing and Finishing Plant.  He was a member of the Gold Wings and enjoyed riding his motorcycle, and was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church.

Survivors other than his wife, Marie Moore include his children, Richard “Rick” Dee Moore and wife Robin, Denise “Dee” Moore Bryant and husband Danny, Jeffrey “Jeff” Martin Moore, Donna Frazier Moore and husband David, Dawn Frazier Campbell and husband Jay; grandchildren, Michael (Hannah) Moore, Kellie (Andy) Ingle, Dylan Moore, Michael Benton, Morgan Benton, Jeffrey Campbell, Mariah (David) Golombisky, Christopher (Deanna) Moore and Travis Moore; 10 great grandchildren; and a sister-in-law, Patricia Hatch Moore.  Jerry was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Jewel Anne Moore Dodson.

A private service to celebrate his life will be held 2:00pm Saturday, May 9, 2020 by Rev. Norman Fargis with the burial to follow in the Haw River City Cemetery.  To watch the service live and to sign the online register book, please visit www.lowefuneralhome.com.

Jerry will be available for viewing on Friday from 12:00pm to 5:00pm and Saturday from 8:00am to 1:00pm at the funeral home.  The family will be at the residence.
