Jerrie Farrell Carver

Jerrie Sue Farrell Carver, 79, peacefully departed this life on Sunday, March 9, 2025, at the Hospice Home. Born on October 8, 1945, in Alamance County, she was the beloved daughter of the late George Woodrow and Helen Myrtis Cheek Farrell. Jerrie was a devoted wife to Steve Gordon Carver for 60 beautiful years.

Jerrie dedicated many years of service to Splawn Belting before her well-deserved retirement. She was an active member of the Christian Bible Fellowship, where she found joy and community. Jerrie found joy in the simple pleasures of life—whether it was playing cards, embarking on adventures with Holiday Tours, or savoring meals at various local restaurants.

Jerrie's legacy of love continues through her family, which includes her beloved husband, Steve, her niece, Karen Farrell and her husband, Ahmed Rami; her great-niece, Rayyan Rami; her brother-in-law, Garry Carver, and his wife, Betty; as well as sisters-in-law, Bonnie Bradford and her husband, Wesley, and Juanita Clark and her husband, Ray. She also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, and her caring church family. Jerrie is now reunited with her parents, her infant son Steven Farrell Carver, and her brother Donald Farrell.

A memorial service to honor and celebrate Jerrie's life will be held at 2:00pm Thursday, March 13, 2025 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel, officiated by Rev. Brian Hill. The family will receive friends following the service.
