Jenny Welch

Jenny Overman Welch, 75, of Burlington was called to her heavenly home on Tuesday April 28th at 12:20 AM after many years of failing health. She was the wife of the late Bobby Nelson Welch and was born May 19, 1933 in Alamance County to the late Ralph and Nellie Hinshaw Overman. Survivors include her son Timothy Jennifer Welch of Burlington and a daughter Kim Foster of Liberty. A grandson Jesse C. Foster, brothers, Jack Judy Overman, Roger Peggy Overman, Bud Jo Overman all of Liberty, a sister-in-law Ann Clarence Welch of Yanceyville, mother-in-law Opal Welch of Burlington and numerous loving nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and a nephew Larry "Scotty" Overman. The funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Thursday at Pleasant Hill Christian Church by Rev. Howard Spray. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends in the fellowship hall following the service.
