Pelham - Jennings Bryan "Buddy" Winn, Jr., 82, passed away Friday, December 2, 2016 at the Hospice Home in Rockingham County surrounded by his family. He was born in Alamance County to the late Jennings Bryan "Jack" Winn, Sr. and Brownie Blaylock Winn and was married to the late Jo Ann Allred Winn.
He was the owner and operator of Buddy's Auction. He enjoyed flea markets and wood working and was a US Army veteran.
Survivors include his son, Bryan Lee (Linda) Winn; daughter, Diane Craver; grandchildren, Brittany (Oscar) Winn-Quibs, Bryan (Taylor) Winn, Jr., Thomas Winn, Jennings Winn III, Bryan Bradley, Danny (Wendy) Bradley, Joann Bradley, Christy (Troy) Coates and Marissa Miller; 14 great grandchildren; brothers, Bobby (Toni) Winn, Keith (Rose) Winn; sisters, Judy (Norman) Fargis, Sandra (Shine) Collins, Ellen Shivley, Kathey (Jay) Faucette; brother-in-law, Max Hayes and sister-in-law, Diane Winn.
He was preceded in death by his wife; parents; daughter, Elaine Winn; grandson, Blaine Winn; sisters, Joan Vincent and Jane Hayes; brothers, Donald Winn and Harvard Winn and son-in-law, Danny Craver.
The funeral service will be held 2:00PM Monday, Dec. 5, 2016 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Norman Fargis with the burial to follow at Berea Christian Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 1:45PM Monday at Lowe Funeral Home prior to the service and other times at the sister, Sandra Collins residence.
