Jeffrey Earp

Burlington - Jeffrey "Jeff" Henry Earp, 51, passed away Sunday, January 28, 2018 at the Hospice Home surrounded by his family. He was born on February 13, 1966 in Danville, VA to the late James "J.P." Penn Earp, Sr. and Shelby Jean Zimmerman Earp and was the husband to Melissa Ann Boyette Earp of 14 years who survives.

Jeff was the Town Manager of Haw River. He formerly was the county manager of Caswell County and a former employee with the NC Dept. of Correction. Jeff was a member of the NC City County Manager Association, he enjoyed the outdoors, camping and was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church.

Survivors other than his wife, Melissa B. Earp includes his children, Carly Jean Earp, Zachary "Zach" Lea Earp and Taylor Ann Hall; a sister, Donna Jean Earp and his father and mother-in-law, Tony and Cathy Boyette. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, James "Jimmy" Penn Earp, Jr.

The Celebration of Life Service will be held 11:00AM Thursday, February 1, 2018 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor Walter Jones. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8PM Wednesday at the funeral home and other times at the residence. There will be a private burial at a later date.
