Jeffrey Blackwell

Jeffrey Keith Blackwell, 62, passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, October 2, 2019 surrounded by his family.  He was born in Alamance County to the late Josephine Starnes Blackwell and Lynn W. Blackwell who survives and was married to Tina Slade Blackwell also surviving.  He was employed at his family business, A.E. Blackwell & Sons and was the former owner of the Idle Hour Bar.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife, Tina, sons, Jeremy Blackwell (Kristin), Chris Blackwell; daughter, Kaitlyn Blackwell (Joey); granddaughters, Karaline Blackwell, Lydia Mae Bullington; beloved companion, Roxy; father, Lynn Blackwell; brothers, David and Stephen Blackwell; brother-in-law, Freddie Slade (Betty); several nieces and nephews and special friends, Johnny Smith (Wanda) and Joey Lea (Ramona).

The family will receive friends at the home on Saturday, October 5, 2019 from 1-5 pm.
