Jeffrey Bayliff

Jeffrey Lee Bayliff, age 45, of Gorrell St., Burlington passed away Thursday, September 5, 2013 at his home. A native of Alamance County, he was the son of Jerry G. and Faye Hurdle Bayliff. He was a member of Beverly Hills United Church of Christ, was a 1985 graduate of Western Alamance High School where he was a member of the golf team. He could be found at Indian Valley Golf Course on a regular basis. Jeff worked with his father in L.T. Bayliff and Son Painting. Survivors include his parents, Jerry and Faye H. Bayliff of Burlington; brother, Dr. Jay G. Bayliff, Jr. and wife Amy of Roxboro; niece and nephew, Sarah and Joshua Bayliff. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Glenn and Fannie Barker Hurdle and paternal grandparents, Lloyd T. and Myrtle Capes Bayliff. The Bayliff family will receive friends at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory from 1:00-2:15pm Sunday and at other times at the home of Jerry and Faye Bayliff; 1041 Greenwood Dr. Burlington. Following the visitation, a service from the graveside will be held at 2:30pm, Sunday, September 8, 2013 at Alamance Memorial Park by Rev. Jim Owen. The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to Beverly Hills United Church of Christ; 715 N. Church St., Burlington, NC 27217 or to the charity of the donor's choice.
